Objectives
Training - Health and Safety Foundation Course provides delegates with a fundamental knowledge of safe work practices and the skills required to monitor safe and healthy working environments.

Course Structure
A minimum of 7-hours instruction over one day.
The course includes lectures enhanced by audio/visual material and practical teaching aids. Delegates are encouraged to actively participate in discussion sessions and group activities.
Some activities will require practical participation.
Examination
The course culminates with a short examination which comprises of 30 multiple choice questions. Successful candidates receive a certificate from the Chartered Institute of Environmental Health.
Who should Attend?
All staff who have not received formal training in Health and Safety.
