To equip the Health and Safety Chair person with the skills necessary to draft annual work plans, agendas and chair Health and Safety Group meetings within their Business Units.

Course Content

The following topics are covered in the course:

• Role of H&S Chair person
• Work plan drafting
• Chairing of meetings
• Production of minutes
• Actioning and following up on H&S meetings

Course Structure

The course is programmed for a total of three hours and includes lectures enhanced by visual material. Delegates are encouraged to actively participate in discussion sessions and group activities.

Certification

There is no examination.  Course delegates will receive a Certificate of Attendance.
